Sailing is an ongoing process of learning and adapting to the elements. To support this journey, we are developing a conceptual framework for the DS-27: TrimSense, powered by our Advanced Sail Navigation & Coaching System (ASNCS) architecture.

Designed as an onboard virtual coach, TrimSense moves beyond raw data display. Its goal is to provide a real-time understanding of your sail trim and offer clear insights on how to improve it.

  • Learning Together: The concept is built around continuous improvement. In every session, TrimSense learns from your trimming habits and the boat's responses, fostering a collaborative environment where you and the vessel refine your performance together.

  • Edge Computing: Processing is handled locally on the boat. By utilizing edge computing, the system is designed to deliver immediate, zero-latency feedback without the need for external cloud connectivity. Your sailing data stays on your boat.
